Every order includes a separate swatch of our silk fabric specifically so you can do a burn test at home. Real silk burns to ash. Polyester melts into a hard plastic bead. Light the corner of the swatch with a lighter — it will become grey ash with a faint smell of burnt hair (both are protein fibres). If anything melts, call us immediately.
We also include our third-party lab certification card with every order, and the full report is available on request. Our silk is Grade 6A, 22-momme, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
This was the core problem we designed around. The dual-adjust system uses a wide, flat band (no uncomfortable ridge on your forehead) combined with an internal drawstring you set once to your exact head size. Unlike basic elastic bonnets that stretch out, ours keeps its shape.
For extra security, many customers also wear a silk sleep mask over the bonnet — the combined weight helps it stay in place even for the most restless movers. If it still doesn't stay on after trying, we'll refund you. No questions.

Our XL size was designed for waist-length and longer hair, thick hair, and high-volume curly/coily hair. The deep cavity is significantly larger than standard bonnets — your ends are actually inside the bonnet, not bunched against the edge.

Hand wash every 7–10 days in lukewarm water with a small amount of gentle shampoo or delicate fabric wash. Do not wring. Press gently between a clean dry towel, then lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat. Do not tumble dry.
Silk is more durable than most people think. Many customers machine wash on a delicates cycle in a mesh laundry bag with cool water — but we recommend hand washing to maximise the life of the fabric.
